Epson Cartridge Chip Resetter resets both 7pin & 9 pin chips

ORIGINAL EPSON T0711-714 & T0801-806 CARTRIDGES MUST BE REFILLED WHEN THE INK LEVELS SHOW THAT BETWEEN 30-50% OF INK REMAINS

The ink level of EPSON "Intellidge" cartridges is recorded in the chip IC, which accurately records the ink usage. Once the chip on the cartridge switches off the printer stops and cannot be used until a new cartridge is installed. Simply refilling with ink does not work.




The Epson Cartridge Chip Resetter can reset the chip IC on all Epson "Intellidge" ink cartridges, and it does not alter the properties of the cartridge(s). Empty cartridges can then be reused repeatably for multiple refills using the same black or colour cartridges and chips.

WARNING

The Epson Cartridge Chip Resetter will reset the chips on genuine Epson T0711, T0712, T0713, T0714, T0801, T0802, T0803, T0804, T0805 & T0806 cartridges but you will need to reset your cartridges before the ink level goes below around 40%. This is because, on a genuine Epson cartridge, there is a sensor behind the chip that is always immersed in the ink. If the cartridge is empty or low then air will have reached the sensor and it will render the cartridge permanently unrecognisable after resetting. Resetting the cartridge at 40% ink level or above will keep the sensor immersed in ink and therefore stop the cartridge from being rejected.

We believe that the sensor behind the chip on a genuine cartridge performs no other function than to make it impossible for the cartridge to be reset or refilled.
